Kosher Lapland Adventure
Our adventures in ice and snow will take us on thrilling rides through frozen landscapes, encountering Arctic animals, into buildings made from ice, and onto ships that cut through icebergs. In search of Extreme adventures, we will experience floating in icy seas, driving over frozen lakes, through snow covered forests, on snowmobiles, reindeer sleds, and fast moving husky dogs.
Zvi Lapian and his team will take care of every detail of your journey, providing comfortable accommodation and transportation, delicious kosher food, daily Minyanim, and a convivial Shabbat atmosphere with like-minded fellow travellers.

Thursday, Feb. 04
Arrival to Helsinki.
Friday, Feb. 05
Tour of Helsinki with Andre Zweig.
Andre is Finland's only Jewish tour guide. He now lives in Israel, and is joining us for our stay in Helsinki.
Shabbat, Feb. 06
After lunch, Andre will take us on a walking tour of Helsinki. After Shabbat we will take a flight to Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland.
Sunday, Feb. 07
Pick up our protective winter gear at Safartica.
Then on to the Sieriporo Reindeer Farm.
A magical experience is waiting for you here in Sieriporo, an original Lapland reindeer farm!
We will travel through the snowy forests and you will have a perfect chance to relax and enjoy yourself. If you are lucky you might see some other arctic animals in the forest as well.
Korouoma Canyon hike in frozen waterfalls.
Hike through snow-draped trails, towering cliffs, and frozen waterfalls that shimmer in the Arctic light - breathtaking winter journey deep into Lapland’s frozen wilderness.
Monday, Feb. 08
Snowmobiling and ice fishing.
Embark on a thrilling snowmobile ride across the frozen lakes of Lapland and enjoy a warm campfire. Experience the excitement of traditional ice fishing with a guided tour.
Afternoon visit to Ranuapirtti - A cultural heritage site
Tuesday, Feb. 09
Experience the joy of mushing your own team of huskies through wintry landscapes!
The husky musher will welcome you at the reception of the resort and walk with you to the kennel where the Alaskan huskies will happily greet you. Before the start of the safari, the husky musher will show how to steer your own sleigh. Enjoy the surrounding nature and the silence while the huskies take you to a trip to remember. After the husky ride we return to the kennel to hear facts and stories of huskies and enjoy hot drinks by the campfire.
Afternoon to the famous Arktikum Science Museum.
An evening snowmobile safari in search of the Northern Lights.
Wednesday, Feb. 10
A full day excursion to the Gulf Of Finland
We will board the icebreaker Sampo, for a 3 hour cruise in the iced waters of the Gulf. For those daring souls, change into the protective suits that the ship provides, and float in the freezing waters. For those lesser daring souls - have a game of soccer on the ice.
Thursday, Feb.11
Flights home - Farewell to Rovaniemi.
