Experience the ultimate Kosher Lapland adventure in Swedish Lapland, where the magic of the Arctic is still unspoiled and enchanting.
Our adventures in ice and snow will take us on thrilling rides through frozen landscapes, encountering Arctic animals, climbing high above the earth and deep beneath it, into buildings made from ice, and onto ships that cut through icebergs. In search of extreme adventures, we will experience floating in icy seas, and savor the comforting heat of a Swedish sauna.
Zvi Lapian and his team will take care of every detail of your journey, providing comfortable accommodation and transportation, delicious kosher food, daily Minyanim, and a convivial Shabbat atmosphere with like-minded fellow travellers.

Arrive & meet the group at Stockholm Airport, Sweden.
Overnight at the Radisson Blu Airport Hotel.
Flight from Stockholm to Kiruna
Transfer to the Elite Frost Hotel.
On arrival you will receive a complete set of protective clothing and snow boots in your size. We will enjoy an early lunch and depart for an afternoon with the friendliest husky dogs.
Husky Dog Sledding
We will learn how to handle our very own team of huskies. These friendly animals enjoy being petted, but they really love to run! We will meet them at their local farm, hitch them to our sleds, and set you off on the ride of your life! Test your driving skills, or relax and enjoy the stunning countryside and the silence of a husky-powered ride through the snowy wilderness. We will stop to take photos, pet the dogs and hear about their amazing skills.
Free Evening
Snowmobile Mountain Safari
Experience the excitement of driving a snow scooter along frozen rivers and up into the hills, for stunning views of snow-covered landscapes.
We will depart after breakfast and return in the afternoon, enjoying a picnic lunch in a picturesque spot.
Northern Lights Experience
The sky is the limit this evening as we ride a chairlift up 900 meters to the Aurora Sky Station at Abisko. Because of its unique geographical position – higher than any other area in Finnish or Swedish Lapland – this will give us the best chance of experiencing the incredible Northern Lights sky-show – the Aurora Borealis.
Reindeer Encounter & Sleigh Ride
In another memorable encounter with Arctic creatures, we will become reindeer herders for a day in the picturesque heart of Lapland. We will help to feed the animals and learn about these magnificent creatures, before climbing into our comfortable reindeer-powered sleighs and enjoying a romantic ride through the wonderful winter landscapes. Enjoy hot drinks and a delicious picnic lunch sitting around the campfire.
Enjoy a relaxing spa evening, with authentic Swedish sauna and massage treatments, as you chill with your new friends (separate groups for men and women!)
Iron Mine Tour
Kiruna has the largest underground iron ore mine in the world. We will travel 500 meters below ground to tour the mine and learn about Sweden’s mining industry.

Evening Snowmobile Tour
Let’s head out again for a thrilling ride through the snow-covered Arctic landscape. Driving the snowmobile at night is a once in a lifetime experience. With a little luck, we will travel under a bright, clear sky lit by the moon and stars. We will sip warm beverages by a campfire and learn more about the Northern Lights and Lapland. If we are lucky, the Northern Lights will appear to show us the way home!
Guided Tour of the Jukkasjärvi Ice Hotel
The world’s original and largest ice hotel is located close to Kiruna and is rebuilt each year entirely from snow and ice. Different artists are invited each year to create rooms in the hotel, sculpting all the furniture and decorations from blocks of ice. The Ice Hotel only exists between December and April, and it melts every spring back into the Torne River. It has been listed as one of the Seven Wonders of Sweden.
We will return to our (unmeltable) hotel for lunch and preparations for warm Shabbat, starting with an early Kabbalat Shabbat service and sumptuous Shabbat Dinner.
Shabbat in Kiruna
We will fuel up with coffee and cake before davening together, enjoy a relaxing Shabbat lunch, and then head out into the town of Kiruna for a private guided walking tour.
Ice Breaker Cruise
We will depart early for a 4-hour bus ride to Lulea, where we will board a genuine Ice Breaker ship for a fascinating cruise between the icebergs. As this mighty ship cuts through the Arctic ice, you can admire the breath-taking beauty of vast open ice fields all around, and the ever-changing sky above. We will tour the ship with the captain, and then embark on an unforgettable challenge – floating in the Arctic Ocean wearing an impermeable survival suit.
We will fly back to Stockholm, enjoy a final dinner together, and spend the night at the comfortable Radisson Blu Airport Hotel
From Stockholm, we will fly home or to the destination of your choice, with a suitcase full of gifts and memories!
